Pedro Pascal has offered comic book movie fans their first look at Marvel’s “The Fantastic Four” cast.

In a new Instagram post, the "The Last of Us" star gave a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the core cast of actors of the superhero Marvel film.

“Our first mission,” Pascal captioned.

The photo features Pascal, who plays Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm aka The Thing), and Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/Human Torch).

The pic also features Julia Garner as The Silver Surfer, while Ralph Ineson, Paul Walter Hauser, and Natasha Lyonne are among the cast in an undisclosed role.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige recently revealed that the film will be a 1960s-set superhero story.

Speaking on “The Official Marvel Podcast”, Feige revealed “The Fantastic Four” will be a period piece set in New York City. However, it may not be the New York City many are familiar with.

“There was another piece of art we released with Johnny Storm flying in the air making a 4 symbol and there was a cityscape in the corner of that image,” Feige said. “There were a lot of smart people who noticed that that cityscape didn’t look exactly like the New York that we know, or the New York that existed in the ‘60s in our world. Those are smart observations, I’ll say.”

Matt Shakman (“WandaVision,” “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters”) is directing “Fantastic Four” from a screenplay by Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer.

The cast of the superhero quartet — the first characters created for Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby — will make an appearance at Comic-Con and Feige noted that the film will start filming right after that engagement.

“Our director, Matt Shakman has already moved to London, and we start filming at the end of July. Funny story, we start shooting the Monday after Comic-Con,” Feige said. “We start filming the day after on Fantastic Four.”

He added, “I’m extremely excited because those characters are mainstays, are legendary pillars of the Marvel Universe that we’ve never gotten to play with or explore in any significant way apart from [Doctor Strange in the] Multiverse of Madness and a few fun teases before, in the way we’re doing that film. So, I’m extremely excited.”

“The Fantastic Four” is set for release in theaters on July 25, 2025.
