Marvel Studios is developing a second "WandaVision" spinoff for Disney+ with English actor Paul Bettany set to reprise his role as Vision.
The series, titled "Vision Quest", will depict The Vision trying to regain his memory and humanity.
The project is overseen by WandaVision creator, writer, and executive producer Jac Schaeffer.
The upcoming spinoff is being unofficially referred to by some as the White Vision project after the on-screen version of the character.
The character was first introduced at the end of episode 8 of the series.
White Vision was created by S.W.O.R.D. by rebuilding and reactivating Vision’s body and was sent on a mission to destroy Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and her “Conditional” Vision.
The two Visions had an epic showdown in the ninth episode during which “Conditional” Vision scanned the memories of White Vision and jogged through all of regular Vision’s memories in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) up to Thanos killing him.
In a moment of clarity, White Vision declared, “I Am Vision”, before swooping up to the sky and disappearing, setting up the potential spinoff.
"WandaVision" debuted in January 2021 and is based on the famous Marvel Comics characters Maximoff and Vision.
It was the first television series in the MCU produced by Marvel Studios, sharing continuity with the movies of the franchise.
It will take place after the events of the 2019 movie “Avengers: Endgame”.
The series takes inspiration from 1950s sitcoms and sees Wanda and Vision living suburban lives until they begin to suspect not everything is as it seems.
In October 2021, a spinoff centering on the show's breakout character, Agatha Harkness, has been confirmed, with Kathryn Hahn set to reprise her role in "Agatha: House of Harkness".
