With the resurgence of Suits and the upcoming spinoff of the USA Network series — fans are left wondering about the returning of Pearson Hardman.
It’s not out of the realm of possibility, star Patrick J. Adams revealed during ATX‘s Suits retrospective where the actor was joined by fellow cast members Sarah Rafferty, Amanda Schull, Dulé Hill, and Abigail Spencer.
“It’s definitely something [creator Aaron Korsh] is interested in doing, trying to get the band back together,” Adams said in response to a fan question about whether the show would get the movie treatment, similar to other USA Network series. “It’s gonna depend on a million things if that can happen, but is it possible.”
“I’ll say as a fan of USA shows becoming films, I would definitely like to be doing another one,” said Hill, who starred in a movie based on his other USA Network series Psych in 2017.
"Suits" became the show of the summer last year when the first eight seasons landed on Netflix. It spent countless weeks atop Nielsen’s streaming charts, raking in billions of minutes viewed each week for months.
The buzz prompted the "Suits: LA spinoff" pilot order starring Stephen Amell as Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, who has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles.
Netflix also announced Sunday that Season 9 would be available in the US beginning on July 1. Previously, the final season had only been streaming on Peacock.
