Egypt's Local Development Minister Khaled Kassem revealed on Sunday that no violations were reported related to the voting process throughout parliamentary elections days, kicked off yesterday.
In televised statements to the state-owned TV channel, Kassem added that the electoral process is taking place amid tight precautionary measures over coronavirus spread.
Moreover, he also stressed that no coronavirus cases have been detected so far in all polling stations.
It is worth mentioning that, Egyptians resume voting on Sunday for the second and last day in the first phase of parliamentary elections across 14 governorates.

The first day of elections witnessed a medium turnout from citizens, who were keen to cast their ballots with the utmost freedom.
The National Elections Authority has formed an operation room and announced a hotline number “19826” for receiving voters’ complaints throughout the two-day parliamentary elections.
