Shailene Woodley has joined the cast of “Paradise” Season 2 at Hulu.

Woodley will appear in the new season in a recurring guest star role, though exact character details are being kept under wraps.

The first season of the twisty drama series starred Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Aliyah Mastin, and Percy Daggs IV. Season 2 is now in production.

Woodley recently starred in the drama series “Three Women,” based on the book of the same name.

She previously picked up a Golden Globe and Emmy nomination for her work in the HBO series “Big Little Lies.” Woodley also got a Golden Globe nod for the film “The Descendants.”

She is perhaps best known for her work in the “Divergent” franchise as well as the film “The Fault in Our Stars.” Her other film credits include “Dumb Money," “Ferrari,” and “Robots.”

“Paradise” originally debuted on Hulu in January and was renewed for a second season in February.

The first season will air on ABC beginning April 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

The official logline for Season 1 states, “‘Paradise’ is set in a serene community inhabited by some of the world’s most prominent individuals. But this tranquility explodes when a shocking murder occurs, and a high-stakes investigation unfolds.”

Dan Fogelman created the series and serves as executive producer and showrunner. Brown also executive produces in addition to starring. John Requa, Glenn Ficarra, John Hoberg, Jess Rosenthal, and Steve Beers executive produce as well. 20th Television, where Fogelman is under an overall deal, is the studio.
