Pamela Anderson and Guy Pearce are set to star in the indie feature "Queen of the Falls"

While the plot remains under wraps, the pic is said to be a music-infused tale about two lovers on the run.

The project hails from filmmaking duo Rania Attieh and Daniel Garcia, who are both writing and directing.

The two won the Someone to Watch Independent Spirt Award for their 2014 movie "H."

Grammy winner Marius De Vries (La La land, Moulin Rouge) is on board to create the music and Celia Rowlson Hall (The Testament of Anne Lee, Aftersun) will choreograph.

Attieh and Garcia’s "H." played Venice, Sundance and Berlin. They also won the Nora Ephron Award at the Tribeca Film Festival for their film Initials "S.G."

"Queen of the Falls" will be produced by Oscar-winning producer Mollye Asher (Nomadland, The Rider) and Shruti Ganguly (H. Initials S.G.).

Pearce was recently nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the Oscars for Brady Corbet’s post-WWII epic "The Brutalist," in which he played a crooked rich man who tasks Adrien Brody’s Hungarian immigrant architect with an impossible edifice.

The performance also earned Pearce a Golden Globe nom. The actor won a 2011 Emmy for HBO’s "Mildred Pearce" in the Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Movie category. Pierce recently completed Ned Crowley’s Western "Killing Faith," and his many other film credits include "L.A. Confidential" and "Memento".

Anderson starred in Gia Coppola’s "The Last Showgirl," which world premiered at last year’s TIFF and was promptly acquired by Roadside Attractions for awards season, where the actress landed a Golden Globe nom and a SAG Award nom for Female Actor in a Drama.

She starred opposite Liam Neeson in Paramount’s reboot of "The Naked Gun," which is approaching $100 million at the global box office. The Baywatch star played Roxie Hart on Broadway in the 2022 production of "Chicago."
