Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyannais the first artist in the Arab world to perform at the Coachella festival, which will be held during April 2023.
The 22-year-old singer shared the thrilling news on Instagram and wrote: “I’m so proud and excited to bring my culture and music to Coachella !”
Later on, she posted a video of her dancing on stage, with the caption “My mood till April.”
Elyanna began her career by covering songs on SoundCloud. In 2020, she released “Ana Lahale” in collaboration with Masari.
Meanwhile, K-pop female group BlackPink will headline the festival, along with Bad Bunny and Frank Ocean.
The 22nd installment of the festival takes place at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, Calif., on the weekends of 14-16 April and 21-23 April.
As per the announcement, “very limited Weekend 1 passes remain; for your best chance at passes, look to Weekend 2.”

Coachella is North America’s largest music festival and has already sold all of its 125,000 tickets per day.
