Palestinian Education: 600,000 students in Gaza are deprived of completing their studies


Amjad Barham, the Palestinian Minister of Education, said a short while ago that more than 600,000 male and female students in Gaza were prevented by the Israeli aggression from completing the academic year, stressing that the occupation destroyed about 200 schools out of more than 350 schools in the Gaza Strip.

Amjad Barham, the Palestinian Minister of Education, said a short while ago that more than 600,000 male and female students in Gaza were prevented by the Israeli aggression from completing the academic year, stressing that the occupation destroyed about 200 schools out of more than 350 schools in the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Minister of Education added, during a telephone conversation with Cairo News Channel a short while ago, that there are 20,000 students from the Gaza Strip who have enrolled at the West Bank University to complete the academic year, and that the Ministry has provided scholarships for Gaza Strip students in various countries of the world.

Amjad Barham, the Palestinian Minister of Education, indicated that there are plans to establish schools in the Gaza Strip that operate in the morning and evening shifts immediately after the end of the Israeli war, and that the Israeli occupation forces destroyed 75% of university buildings in the Gaza Strip, completely or partially.
