Netflix has unveiled the official poster and trailer for Emily Blunt and Chris Evans' movie “Pain Hustlers,” which is set to debut on the streaming service Oct. 27 after premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival.

As a mother struggling to support her daughter, Liza Drake (portrayed by Blunt) seeks out a new stream of income in hopes of turning her life around. All seems to be working out well for Liza when she lands a job at a pharmaceutical start-up.

However, she has no idea that the company is a failing, fully-fledged illegal business, and she swiftly finds herself stuck in the middle of a racketeering scheme.

The trailer introduces Blunt's character Liza Drake, seeking to improve her financial situation and her daughter's life, as she meets with Evans' Pete Brenner for a job interview. Liza convinces Pete to give her a job at his sales company and quickly teaches her that commissions on selling drug prescriptions are the key to making money in that industry.

Having been introduced to Blunt’s Liza, viewers get a sneak peek at the seemingly lucrative life she’s able to live for a short period of time before the reality (and legalities) of her situation truly set in.

“Pain Hustlers” also stars Andy Garcia, Catherine O’Hara, Jay Duplass, Brian d’Arcy James, and Chloe Coleman.

The movie takes inspiration from Evan Hughes’ New York Times article of the same name, with a script written by Wells Tower.

“Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts” director David Yates helms the pic. Yates also produces via his company Wychwood Media alongside Lawrence Grey of Grey Matter Productions.
