American actor Owen Wilson unveiled that he will return for "Loki" season two.
In a new interview, Wilson confirmed that he will be reprising his role as TVA agent Mobius in the Disney+ Marvel series.
Season two was confirmed back in June 2021 during the final episode of season one, with Loki’s case file can be seen with a stamp that reads: “Loki will return in season 2”.
Production on season two is due to begin in 2022.
The first season of “Loki” debuted on Disney+ on June 9 and consisted of six episodes that were released weekly on Wednesdays.
It is directed by Kate Herron and written and created by Michael Waldron. The production marks Marvel’s third TV series to debut on Disney+ this year, following “WandaVision” and “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier”.
Following the events of “Avengers: Endgame”, and sees Loki (Tom Hiddleston) taken in by the Time Variance Authority (a.k.a. the TVA) with Mobius M. Mobius (Wilson) taking on his role as a handler as Loki only can set right all of the timeline breakages he created by taking the Tesseract during the events of “Avengers: Endgame”.
