Opera House Organizes Concerts on Valentine's Day

The Egyptian Opera House is organizing a series of concerts on the Valentine's Day sponsored by Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture. The concerts will include five nights with the participation of 15 singers and musicians from Egypt and the Arab world.

Concerts will start on Thursday, February 11, and continues until Monday, February 15 at the Grand Theater.

The artist Jihan Morsi the Central Department of Oriental Music head, explained that the 1st night of Valentine's Day concerts will be held at 8 pm on Thursday, February 11th, led by Maestro Mohamed Al-Mouji and with the participation of Lebanese Carole Samaha, Ahmed Jamal and pianist Hamada Al-Najjar.

Moreover, the 2nd night will be held on Friday, February 12th, a concert will be held with the participation of Moroccan singer Jannat, Ahmad Effat and Jordanian guitarist Waheed Mamdouh.

On Saturday, February 13th, May Farouk will perform a works selections of the music heritage, followed by the star Medhat Saleh with the participation of the famous pianist Amr Selim and accompanied by the orchestra led by Maestro Ahmed Amer.

The 4th night will be held on Sunday, February 14th, and it will be performed by the prince of Arab singing Hany Shaker, accompanied by the orchestra led by Maestro Mostafa Helmy, preceded by a break for the star Ahmed Saad and singer Ayat Farouk.

The concerts series ends on Monday, February 15th, with the great singer Ali Al-Hajjar accompanied by the orchestra led by Maestro Mustafa Helmy.
