Mr. Mohamed Barkindo, Secretary-General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), and his accompanying delegation visited the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC).
This visit came, on the sidelines of the Egypt International Petroleum Conference and Exhibition (EGYPS 2022), which will be launched tomorrow Monday.
They were received by Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the Museum. He gave them an overview of the museum and its holdings.
During the tour, the ambassador visited the Central Exhibition Hall and the Mummies Hall.
The ambassador expressed his happiness with visiting the museum and his admiration of the displayed unique artifacts, which represent the ancient Egyptian civilization through the ages.
