"Only Murders in the Building" Season 3 Wraps Production

Production wrapped on the highly-anticipated third season of "Only Murders in the Building".  

The original mystery-comedy series has gathered a lot of fanfare and critical applause for its first two seasons and the expectation from Season 3 is quite high. Along with the leading trio of Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin, the series is going to bring in high-profile actors like Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd as guest stars hyping up the audiences’ keenness.

"Only Murders In The Building" follows Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short), and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez), neighbors at an Upper West Side building called the Arconia, who bond over a love of true crime podcasts and end up getting involved in mysterious murders.

In Season 1, they uncovered the killing of their fellow resident Tim Kono (Julian Cihi) and in Season 2 they unveiled the killer of the building’s board president Bunny Folger (Jayne Houdyshell) — while trying to clear their names.

The Season 2 finale saw Glenroy die onstage while performing in a Broadway play opposite Charles and directed by Oliver.

Season 3 follows Charles, Oliver, and Mabel attempting to figure out who murdered Ben Glenroy (Rudd).

Along with Martin, Short, and Gomez, the series also stars Amy Ryan, Jane Lynch, Andrea Martin, Tina Fey, Ryan Broussard, Jayne Houdyshell, and more. 

The new series will also feature guest appearances from Emily in Paris star Ashley Park and Grey’s Anatomy alum Jesse Williams. 

“Only Murders in the Building” arrives from co-creators and writers Martin and John Hoffman. 

The duo also served as executive producers along with Short, Gomez, Jamie Babbitt, Dan Fogelman, and Jess Rosenthal. 20th Century Fox Television produces.

“Only Murders in the Building” Season 3 is expected to drop on Hulu sometime in the summer of 2023.
