Once Again... Tawfik Abdel Hamid Is Stepping Away from Acting

Veteran Egyptian actor Tawfik Abdel Hamid announced Monday that he is stepping away from acting due to health issues.

He shared on Facebook his planning to end his acting career after he finished filming his new TV series “U-Turn”, starring Riham Hagag.

The acclaimed actor also opened up about the reason behind his choice, noting: "My decision was due to my health condition and has nothing to do with anyone. I hope you will respect my desire not to speak about it.".

Abdel Hamid made his comeback to the small screen with "U-Turn" after a 12-year hiatus.

He has previously unveiled the reason behind his absence was the lack of good roles that would bring him back to the studios again.
