Very few actress have the ability to mold themselves brilliantly according to their characters and the context of the story. Superstar Sherihan is one such actress. The iconic star began her career in showbiz with the play, ‘Souk Al Banatk’ in 1980 and has displayed her skills as an actress by portraying a variety of roles on screen.

The star retired in 2002 due to health issues, but later in 2017, during a party sponsored by Al-Adl Group, she announced coming out of retirement.

As Sherihan celebrates her birthday on December 6, here is a look at her most notable plays of all times.

Souk Al Banatk Play

Sherihan made her theater debut with the play, ‘Souk Al Banatk’ back in 1980. She played the role of "Suso", a school teen girl who refuses to obey her father's orders. While the role was a small one, it was pivotal in carrying forward the story and made an impact. The play also starred Fouad El Moohandis and Ahmed Ratib and Sanaa Yonis definitely left a mark in this one.

Mohamed Ali Street Play

Is there any kind of role that Sherihan can’t play? The actress play the role of a belly dancer in Mohamed Ali Street play, which evokes many laughs. Sherihan also displays a lot of conviction to her character and it is one of the very important roles in the Farid Shawky's play.

Coco Chanel Play 

Recently, Sherihan starred in a new play titled Coco Chanel directed by Hady El-Bagouri. Sherihan portrayed French fashion designer and businesswoman Gabrielle Bonheur, also known as "Coco" Chanel. The play shows how Coco managed to establish the Chanel brand.
