Omar Khairat to Perform Live at the Pyramids

Veteran musician, Omar Khairat will perform live at the sound and light stage at the Pyramids in June, amid a large attendee.

Khairat is set to perform several of his masterpieces.

The exact date of the event is yet to be announced.

This was not the first time that the international musician present a concert at the Sound and Light stage. 

He performed his first concert in 2017, years after being honored at the golden Fingers Celebration in 2011.

Khairat was born on November 11, 1948, in the Al Sayeda Zainab neighborhood in Cairo to a family that loved the arts and the piano.

He studied music at the Conservatoire, which was founded by his uncle, and began studying piano in 1959 at the hands of the Italian Professor Caro, and then he studied music composition in London.

Omar was a drummer for the Egyptian rock band Les Petits Chats until 1971.
