The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) participated in the opening ceremony of the third session of the “ALLY Program for Future Muslim Women Leaders” in Ankara, an initiative aimed at strengthening leadership skills among young women from across the Islamic world.
The program, organized under Türkiye’s chairmanship of the 51st Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers and in partnership with the Turkish Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Family and Social Services, brings together young Muslim women leaders from OIC member states to expand their professional networks and promote international cooperation.
In remarks delivered on behalf of OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha, Dr. Abdul Falilat Ajoke, Director of Social and Family Affairs, praised Türkiye’s leadership and reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to women’s empowerment through training and capacity-building initiatives.
Turkish Family and Social Services Minister Mahinur Göktaş and Deputy Foreign Minister Musa Kulaklıkaya highlighted the importance of investing in young women leaders to support sustainable development and social progress across the Muslim world.
