The General Secretariat of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation strongly condemns the ongoing series of escalating crimes and terrorism perpetrated by extremist colonizer gangs in the occupied Palestinian territories, particularly the burning of two mosques in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, and in the village of Kaur, south of Tulkarm, with racist and inciting slogans written on their walls.

This crime is part of a wide colonial and aggressive campaign against Palestinian civilians, with the participation and protection of Israeli occupation forces, encompassing all occupied Palestinian territories in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including Al-Quds Al-Sharif.

The General Secretariat warns that targeting mosques and attacking holy sites constitutes a serious violation of the sanctity of places of worship, freedom of religion and belief, and the human values and principles that ensure the protection and preservation of holy sites, warning of the dangers of igniting religious conflict and escalating hate speech and racism against the defenseless Palestinian people.

The General Secretariat calls on the international community and all relevant international institutions to condemn these heinous crimes and urgently take all deterrent measures to stop the criminal series committed against the Palestinian people, including accountability, legal and legislative prosecution of colonial entities and all institutions associated with the Israeli occupation and its illegal system.
