Rapper Offset has been discharged from the hospital after being shot earlier this week outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

In a statement shared on social media, the Migos rapper shared that he’s “good” but “planning to be better" and thanked everyone who’s shown him love over the past few days.

“I’m focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to the music…realizing that life is made up of quiet wins and loud losses…,” he wrote. “Life’s a gamble and I’m still playing to win.”

"Offset has been released from the hospital, and he is up and walking," a spokesperson for the rapper, whose legal name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, said in a statement Friday. "We're incredibly grateful to the doctors, nurses, and the entire hospital staff who took such great care of him."

Offset was shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida on April 6.

He was hospitalized, and at the time, his rep said that he was “stable and being closely monitored.”

A spokesperson for the Seminole Police Department confirmed that two people had been detained and that the investigation was still ongoing.

That same night, rapper Lil Tjay was arrested in connection with the shooting and was booked into Broward County Jail on a disorderly conduct — affray charge, with bail set at $500.

He was also charged with a traffic violation that carries a $2,500 bond.

Lil Tjay was released from jail the next day and referred to Offset as a “rat” while exiting the building.

Rumors had been circulating that Lil Tjay was directly involved in the accident, leading his attorney Dawn M. Florio to deny the reports. “Lil Tjay has not been shot, nor has Lil Tjay been charged with any shooting,” she said in a statement. “Any reporting to the contrary is false.”
