The first look at Obi-Wan Kenobi's highly-anticipated limited series has finally been revealed.
The limited series features Ewan McGregor reprising his beloved role of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi was rumored for years before it was confirmed as a series at Disney’s D23 event in 2019.
“Obi-Wan Kenobi” is set 10 years after the events of the 2005 movie “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith“, which featured Obi-Wan (McGregor) facing his closest friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen), who got corrupted by the Dark Side.
The movie ended with the famous Jedi taking newborn twins Luke Skywalker and Lea Organa into hiding.

The trailer features Obi-Wan Kenobi keeping a watchful eye on a young Luke Skywalker, the Grand Inquisitor's hunt for Obi-Wan Kenobi and the remaining Jedi.
It also depicts the rise of the Empire set to the backdrop of John Williams' soul-stirring "Duel of Fates".
The series will reunite McGregor with Christensen, who is set to reprise his role as Skywalker, giving fans the reunion they have been yearning over for years.
It will also witness the return of Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse as Owen and Beru Lars.
The series will also feature a host of new faces, including Indira Varma, Moses Ingram, Simone Kessell, Sung Kang, Kumail Nanjiani, Rupert Friend, Benny Safdie, and O’Shea Jackson Jr.
Deborah Chow is expected to direct the entire series, with Joby Harold penning the scripts.
The limited series is executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor, and Joby Harold.
"Obi-Wan Kenobi" will debut on Disney+ on May 25.
