Documentary film (27-37) by Nour Halloum was selected among the participants of the Zagora International Trans-Saharan Film Festival's international competition.
The film will mark its international primer at the festival, and it will represent Egypt and Syria at the competition.

The Film project participated in the Factory initiative- LAAF 2022 and has been awarded 3 awards in Post Production Phase including a color grading award and an advertising award from CULT.
The film highlights a journey back with the memory through reality, for all the time that has been robbed and destroyed by the recent war in Syria. Ten years spent in Egypt by Syrian director Nour Halloum till she back home. It is like a review of a journey from exile to homeland from her point of view.
Halloum is a Syrian writer and director residing in Egypt, she started studying cinema in 2016 through several workshops in Filmmaking, Screenplay, Editing, and Cinematography.
She has worked as an assistant director on several documentaries and feature films.
In 2019, she directed her first documentary “12 Steps Forward” in addition to researching and writing the script.
The festival will take place between December 15, and 20. 24 films from 14 countries will participate in the festival, including 8 films in the international competition.
