The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization received several European senior officials in the past two days like the Romanian Foreign Minister, and Greek, and Cypriot Health Ministers.
During her visit to Egypt, Romanian Foreign Minister Luminița Odobescu and her delegation visited the museum. They were received by the executive director of the museum's Dr. Al Tayeb Abbas who gave the Romanian official a brief background about the museum, and its role. So, the Romanian Foreign Ministry presented a gift to the museum. Odobescu toured the museums and its various halls.
By the end of the tour, she was happy and impressed by the exhibits that reflect the progress of life and heritage in Egypt. She also praised the unique display scenario of the museum, especially the Royal Mummies Hall.
In the same context, Greek Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis, and Cypriot Health Minister Michael Damianos with their delegations.
The visit was on the sidelines of the PHDC 24 conference. The ministers and their delegations were received by Abbas who welcomed them, and presented a catalogue about the Royal Mummies Hall.
The ministers toured the museum where they were impressed by the unique exhibits and the style and display scenario of the Royal Mummies Hall. They were also impressed by the displays that proved Egyptians excellence in medicine.
After the visit, they left special messages in the book of senior visitors. They also expressed their pleasure with the warm welcome.
