The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) received three official delegations from the Malpes, Indonesia and the World Bank, in line with their current visit to Egypt.
Fayrouz Fikry, Vice President of NMEC, welcomed the Malpes' Ministers of Finance and Economy, President of Indonesia’s Central Bank, Chairman of the Board of the World Bank as well as other board members.
Fikry took the delegation on a tour inside the museum that included the central exhibition halls, the Egyptian textile, and the royal mummies.
Moreover, she provided a detailed explanation of the museum, the history of its establishment, and its unique archaeological holdings that tell the record of Egyptian civilization throughout the ages.
During the tour, the delegation members expressed their great happiness with what they witnessed of distinct archaeological holdings. They were keen to take souvenir photos for them inside the museum.
In the same vein, Sharm El-Sheikh Museum received Indonesia’s Finance Minister and her accompanying delegation, on the sidelines of their presence in the city to attend the annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group.
