NMEC Receives Qatar's State Minister, President of National Library

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) received Qatar's State Minister with the rank of Deputy Prime Minister, and the President of Qatar National Library Dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari, and his wife. The visit to the museum came on the sidelines of the Qatari official to Egypt.

They were received by Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, Managing Executive Director of the Authority of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, who welcomed them and briefed them about the location, the history, and the cultural role of the museum. In addition, he gifted them a souvenir for their visit.

Dr. Sayed Abu El Fadl, the supervisor of the central display hall and Royal Mummies Hall at the NMEC, accompanied them on a tour of the museum.

At the end of the tour, Al-Kuwari expressed his pleasure with the visit and expressed his amusement with NMEC's role as a cultural landmark that depicts the greatness and impact of Egypt's civilization.

He also thanked the staff of the museum for their warm welcome.
