The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization received the Portuguese Health Minister Manuel Pizarro, and a number of officials, health experts, and pharmaceutical companies as part of their visit to Egypt.
Deputy Director for Management and Operation at NMEC received the Portuguese delegation and gave them a brief about the history of the museum and its top exhibits.
They toured the NMEC's different halls including the Hall of Egyptian Textiles and Royal Mummies.
On his side, the minister praised the exhibits of the NMEC and how they reflect the rich Egyptian history with its different periods. He also expressed his amusement with the Royal mummies, after the historical parade.
The Portuguese delegation received some souvenirs from the NMEC after the minister left his message in the guestbook.
