The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) received three senior delegations this week such as a delegation from the Jordanian House of Representatives, and another from the Gabonese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by the director of cultural and artistic cooperation affairs, in addition to a delegation headed by the Ambassador of Hungary in Egypt.
A number of the museum’s officials accompanied the whole delegations during their tour in the Main Hall, the Mummies Hall, and the lake.
Moreover, the guests were keen to inspect the displayed artefacts, especially, the Royal mummies which were transported to the museum by a breathtaking royal parade from Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the NMEC last April.
The delegations’ members expressed their sincere happiness, and amazement by watching the exhibited pieces at the museum that reflect the greatness of Egyptian history and civilization through different eras.
They praised the location of the museum located beside Mokkattam Mountain, and Ein Al Seirah Lake, and nearby Saladin Citadel, Mohamed Ali Mosque, and the debris of Fustat city.
They also liked the display scenario of the museum that depicts the significance of the exhibited antiquities.
