Thirteen years after releasing her debut album "Pink Friday", American-Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj has delivered the long-awaited sequel.

The album consists of 22 songs and features collaborations with the likes of Drake, J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Tate Kobang, Lourdiz, Lil Uzi Vert, Skillibeng, Skeng, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, and Future.

Minaj previously released the album’s lone single “Last Time I Saw You” with a more pop-centric vibe.

In October, Minaj pushed back the arrival of "Pink Friday 2", and took to Instagram Live to announce that her new record would drop on December 8, her 41st birthday.

“The new album date for this incredible body of work, that I am so proud of is on a special day to me and to the Barbz — it will come out on my birthday,” Minaj said. “Pink Friday 2 I am so happy to announce will be out on my birthday.”

Minaj had originally scheduled the record to be released on October 20, then later pushed the album to November 17. Although she didn’t state the reason for the second delay, Minaj insisted on Twitter it was due to “some really exciting news that I’ll share with you guys @ a later time.”

The project marks Queen of Rap's fifth studio album and comes five years after 2018’s "Queen", which featured “Chun Li”, “Good Form”, “Barbie Dreams”,  and “Bed” with Ariana Grande. It also features collaborations with Lil Wayne, Future, The Weeknd, and more.

It will also mark her first solo material in over four years. The rapper has kept busy with a slew of standalone singles and collaborations, including "Super Freaky Girl" and "Red Ruby Da Sleeze" alongside several collaborations with Kim Petras, Ice Spice, and more.
