Nick Jonas to Star in Action-Thriller "Bodyman"

Fresh off the release of his latest album and with a tour planned for this summer, Nick Jonas is now getting back in front of the camera.

The singer-actor is set to star in the upcoming action-thriller “Bodyman,” which is launching at the European Film Market in Berlin with A Higher Standard. A Higher Standard is handling worldwide sales.

The project will be directed by Gary Fleder (“Homefront,” “Kingdom,” “Reacher”) from a script penned by Byron Balasco (“Kingdom”). Principal photography is scheduled to commence in June.

“Bodyman” follows a violent struggle for power and, ultimately survival, that ensues during a family Christmas when an eccentric billionaire unexpectedly signs over his nepo-baby children’s expected inheritance of his private military company to his longtime bodyguard (Jonas). Who will make it out of their remote family estate alive?

Jonas and Spencer Berman will produce for Powered by Jonas, alongside Nickel City Pictures’ Mark Fasano and A Higher Standard’s Jeffrey Greenstein.
