As the release date approaches, Netflix released a new glimpse for the Arabic adaptation of the 2016 hit Italian film “Perfect Strangers“ (Shab Wala Aaz).
The film marks the streaming giant first Arabic film and features a star-stunned cast that includes Mona Zaki, Nadine Labaki, Adel Karam, Eyad Nassar, Diamand Bou Abboud, and George Khabbaz.

The plot takes place in Lebanon and centers around a group of friends who decide to play a game. They place their cellphones on the table and agree to make all texts and calls become public.
The game at first is a playful exercise, things get decidedly more serious as untold secrets public knowledge within the group.
“Perfect Strangers“ has been adapted by Gabriel Yammine and Wissam Smayra, the film will be the latter’s debut feature.
It is co-produced by Front Row’s Yalla Yalla unit with Egypt’s Film Clinic and Lebanon’s Empire Entertainment.

The 2016 movie has been remade 18 times across countries such as France, Spain, South Korea, Germany, and Greece.
Netflix has also signed a first-look deal for Arabic films with the film’s producer Front Row, the Middle East distributor.
“Perfect Strangers” is set to debut on the giant streamer on Jan. 20, 2022.
