"Anf W Thalath Oyoun" hails from director Amir Ramses and screenwriter Wael Hamdy. Lagoonie Film Production and Rise Studios are the studios behind the pic.

This will be the second time the novel has been adapted for the big screen. It was previously presented as a film in 1972 and was also made into a TV series in 1980.

It follows Dr. Hashem, a renowned plastic surgeon in his mid-40s who remains single despite having been in two long-term relationships before. However, when he meets Ruba — a woman who is 25 years his junior — he finds himself unable to resist her charms and allure despite the age gap.

The film had a great global debut as part of the Arab Spectacular Program at the 3rd edition of Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Film Festival, where it was well received by audiences and critics alike.

The trailer opens with a compelling monologue by Hashem (played by Dhafer L'Abidine) on the nature of surrender, introducing us to the character’s restless nature and his struggles with making meaningful decisions at a point in his life in which he has much to lose.

It introduces the film’s heroines — Amina Khalil’s character, who seems to be hung up on Hashem, and Salma Abu Deif’s young and innocent Ruba — we cut to a thought-provoking discussion between Hashem and his therapist, played by the talented actress Saba Mubarak, in which he explores a persistent nightmare that plagues him.

As the trailer progresses, Hashem goes into more detail about the nature of his dream as we see snippets of his troubled childhood, prompting the audience to ponder just how much familial trauma can affect someone’s ability to maintain a healthy relationship.
