Syrian actress-singer Nesreen Tafesh and her husband Sherif Sharkawy, an Egyptian dentist and Reiki therapist, have finalized their divorce, after five months of marriage.
Sharkawy told one of his followers who asked him about Tafesh's whereabouts and if they had gotten a divorce.
"The divorce took place in peace, and I respect her as a human being. Disagreement is a natural thing that happens between humans. The important thing is peace and respect," he added.
Tafesh recently sparked split rumors after she deleted all her photos with her husband, including her marriage announcement.
In June, the actress posted announced their marriage alongside sharing their first photos together.
Tafesh announced in late 2020 that she was in love and preparing to get married in early 2021 but she did disclose any details about the topic back then.
