Nermine El Feky Receives UAE Golden Visa

Egyptian actress Nermine El Feky announced Tuesday on Instagram that she had received a Golden Card visa from the UAE.

The Golden Card is a long-term residence visa announced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, in May 2019.

The residency lasts for 5 to 10 years and will be renewed automatically.

It is awarded to investors, entrepreneurs, specialized talents, and researchers in various fields of science and knowledge as week as bright students with promising scientific capabilities.

Several famous faces have been awarded the UAE Golden visa including, Nabila Ebeed, Roberto Carlos, Cristiano Ronaldo, Novak Djokovic, Yasmin Abdelaziz, Khaled Selim, Dorra Zarrouk, Karim Fahmy, Hannah El Zahed, Ramy Gamal, Carole Samaha, Nadine Nassib Njeim, Mohamed Ramadan, Mai Selim, and Mais Hamdan.

El Feky was last seen in season 6 of the comedy hit TV series “Al-Kabir Awy”.

It sees the return of the cast of previous seasons such as Ahmed Mekky, Bayoumi Fouad, Laila Ezz El Arab, Hisham Ismail, and Mohamed Salam.

The new season will also feature a new guest star every two episodes including Maged El Kedwany and Hamdy El-Merghany.

It is written by Mustafa Saqr, directed by Ahmed El-Gendy, and produced by the Synergy production company.

“Al-Kabir Awy” made its debut in 2010. It revolved around the Mayor of the Mazarita village, in upper Egypt, who discovers that he has other siblings.

The series achieved great success and became one of the best comedy series that screened annually in Ramadan. It was renewed in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2022.

“Al-Kabir Awy” season 7 is set to screen in the Ramadan 2023 drama marathon.
