The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in Fustat celebrated its 2nd anniversary alongside World Music Day celebrations with a concert by renowned Egyptian soprano, Amira Selim.
The concert was attended by Ahmed Issa, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities; Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development; Dr. Nevin Al-Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, and a number of art lovers, and ambassadors of foreign countries in Cairo.
CEO of the Museum Authority Ahmed Ghoneim said that the concert comes within the activities of "Eternal Egypt" in partnership with RMC, adding that the museum plans to support its financial resources by organizing a range of cultural and entertainment events for different types of visitors and audiences.
