Nelly Karim to Star Film "Tuesday 12"

Egyptian actress, Nelly Karim is starring in a new film entitled "Tuesday 12", which is being shot in the United Arab Emirates by Tunisian director Magdi Al Samiri.

"Tuesday 12" also stars Bassem Yakhour, Omar Mikati, Badih Abou Chakra, Stephanie Atala, Pierre Samaan, Nour Ehab, and others.

The film marks Karim’s first film to be shot in the UAE as well as Siham Al-Khzouz producing debut, who attempts to shed light along with the “I See Media” production company, on the current prospection of the UAE youth.

"Tuesday 12" is a coming-of-age film that focuses on 3 fourteen-year-old girls, Amal, an athletic, Salma, a pianist, and Noor, a rebel dancer, who struggles with their father to achieve their dreams despite social and religious differences, as each faces their dilemmas and challenges to fulfill their dreams.

The film is set to participate in major international and Arab festivals before it's released in the cinemas across the Arab world.

Karim has other upcoming projects on the way, such as the TV series “Nemra Etnien”, and films “El Feel El Azraq 3”, “Agent Zero”, and “Bi 100 Wesh”.

It is worth mentioning that Karim, born on December 18, 1974, is an Egyptian actress, former model, and ballet dancer.

She was born in Alexandria, Egypt, to a Russian mother and an Egyptian father. Karim graduated from the Ballet Arts Academy and began dancing ballet at the Opera in 1991.

The actress has starred in many television series such as “Wajh al-Qammar”, “Hadeeth al-Sabah wa al-Masaa”, “al-Houb al-Kabir”, and “al-Bannat”.

Karim’s latest artistic work is TV series “Bi 100 Wesh”(Many-Faced), which achieved great success in Ramadan.

The TV series also stars Asser Yassin, Moustafa Darwish, Islam Ibrahim, Sherif Desouqy, Ola Roshdy, Donia Maher, Mohamed Abd El Azim, Loai Omran, Zeinab Ghareeb, Salwa Mohamed Ali, Hanan Youssef, Sarah El Tonsy, and others.
