The first season of the TV Series “Bi 100 Wesh” (Many-Faced) was one of the most-watched soap opera in Ramadan.

It was directed by prominent director Kamla Abu Zekry, and starring Asser Yassin, Nelly Karim, Mustafa Darwish, Ola Roushdy, Islam Ibrahim, and others.

The cast has displayed brilliant acting performances. The series brought to the show the technique of the Spanish series “La Casa de Papel” (Money Heist), displaying a tightly constructed robbery in a light-hearted way, which left the audience thirsty for more.

The production drew the viewers with the on-screen partnership with the chemistry that is visible between Sukar and Omar, played by Karim and Yassin.

The criminal couple was not evil, but funny and good. The production also presented a new one of the simplest, yet, greatest catchphrases, that has made the duo the most talked-about couples on social media.

Omar's infamous “Hey Sugar” has melted the hearts of many female viewers and the romantic relationship that has recently developed between the two has kept people hooked and rooting for a happy ending. The couple's romantic relationship has developed in a natural and life-like manner that has made people identify with them.

In June, Abu Zekry revealed that she will not be directing the second part of the series, noting that she will not participate in Ramadan 2021 with any production, and expressed her desire to return to the cinema in 2021.

“I want to take time off and to rest after the hard effort I made in Ramadan 2020,” she added.

The series was set to be released in Ramadan 2021 drama marathon, but it was postponed until Ramadan 2022.
