The comedy star-studded TV series "Nelly and Sherihan" has officially been picked up for a second season after 10 years.
The show achieved great success upon premiere during the Ramadan 2016 drama marathon.
"Nelly and Sherihan" boasts a cast that includes the siblings Donia and Amy Samir Ghanem as well as Mustafa Khater, Mohamed Salam, Salwa Khattab, Bayoumi Fouad, Mahmoud El-Gendy, Ahmed Halawa, Mohamed Tharwat, and others.
It also featured cameo appearances by Hend Sabri, Hassan El Raddad, Ezzat Abou Aouf, Chico, Hamdi El-Mirghani, and Shimaa Seif.
Ahmed El-Gendy directed the series from a script by Karim Youssef, Mustafa Saqr, and Mohamed Ezz El-Din.
The series follows Nelly and Sherihan who discover that their grandfather's fortune exists. They disagree on everything, except on the necessity of teaming up to solve the mysteries to find it.
Season 2 of "Nelly and Sherihan" is set to debut in the Ramadan 2027 drama marathon.
