NRC, France’s Grenoble to Organize 1st International Scientific Conference

The National Research Center (NRC) will hold its first international scientific conference under the theme of “The first international conference of the National Center for Research in Science and Sustainable Development in partnership with France’s Grenoble Institute ".

The conference, scheduled to be held from September 16 to 18, will be attended by France’s Ambassador to Cairo Stéphane Romatet. It will be held at the headquarters of the "National Research Center".

Dr. Mohamed Hashim, President of the NRC confirmed that the conference comes within the framework of the continuous cooperation between the NRC and the French Cultural Center, and in the light of the Egyptian-French Cultural Year 2019. This is based on the agreement of scientific cooperation Between the Center and Grenoble Institute, which includes organizing a joint international conference.

Hashim pointed out that the conference will address six themes including the most important goals of sustainable development such as health, industry, innovation, nutrition, energy, water, the environment and climate change.

The conference will be attended by a group of scientists and researchers from Egypt and France and their counterparts from all over the world. They will present the latest scientific findings in the sustainable development fields in a way that contributes to solving the problems of society and promoting development.

More than one international agreement is scheduled to be inked between the Center and several institutes, universities and international bodies to ensure the exchange of experiences.
