In the heart of Fustat, the Egyptian National Museum of Civilization echoed with the sounds of an extraordinary musical evening dubbed "The Egyptian Identity."

This grand occasion, held at the museum's main theater, was realized in partnership with the Sadko Group. The event drew a distinguished crowd, including renowned public figures, and members from various civil societies, and charitable associations. Among the notable attendees was the Tawasol Community Education Association of Azbet Khairallah, alongside a throng of music and art enthusiasts who have become regulars at the museum's eclectic array of events.

Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, the museum's Executive Director, noted that this musical gala was just one in a line of efforts initiated by the museum to encourage wider community engagement with NGOs.

He reiterated the institution's role as a nexus of culture, inviting all segments of society and keen to synergize with multiple organizations to enhance its societal footprint through workshops and activities. Additionally, Dr. Ghoneim lauded the invaluable support from the private sector in championing such cultural events.

Ms. Hadya Ghobour, Chairwoman of the Sadko Group, shared her enthusiasm for joining forces with a revered cultural entity like the Egyptian National Museum of Civilization. She highlighted her company's mission to amplify Egyptian pride, and identity, and foster community-driven ventures.

The night was punctuated by mesmerizing performances. The Tawasol Association delivered an artistic rendition that captivated the audience. But the crowning moment was perhaps the Shorouk Egypt Association's choir, consisting of students from the West Educational Administration schools, rendering the evocative "Isis" hymn.

This piece had previously enchanted global audiences during the celebrated Royal Mummies' Parade in April 2021. The evening gracefully concluded with the Saad Al-Oud ensemble, serenading attendees with iconic Egyptian tunes and heritage songs.
