Natalie Portman and her husband, Benjamin Millepied have officially divorced after 11 years of marriage.
A representative for Portman confirmed to People that the Oscar-winning actress quietly filed for divorce from the French choreographer in July in France, where the former couple resided with their two children.
The divorce was finalized last month.
Portman and Millepied first met on the set of “Black Swan," a psychological thriller that earned her the best actress Oscar in 2010.
They wed in California in August 2012 and share a 12-year-old son, Aleph, and 7-year-old daughter, Amalia.
Portman most recently starred in Todd Haynes’ “May December” alongside Julianne Moore and Charles Melton, which is up for a best original screenplay Oscar on Sunday.
In the movie, she played Elizabeth Berry, an actress who studies the life of a controversial woman (Moore) she is set to portray in a film.
For her performance, Portman received a Golden Globe nomination for best actress in a otion picture, comedy or musical.
She will next star in Guy Ritchie’s heist movie “Fountain of Youth” opposite John Krasinski and Apple TV+ limited series “Lady in the Lake,” which she is also producing.
Millepied most recently choreographed Denis Villeneuve’s epic “Dune: Part Two,” in which he crafted the desert sandwalk.
He made his feature-length directorial debut in 2022 with “Carmen”, a musical drama starring Melissa Barrera and Paul Mescal.
