Archaeologists discovered in Hebei, Chinese Province an ancient tomb dating back to the Ming dynasty that ruled the years (1368-1644).
News.cn quoting from Heritage Conservation Management in Hebei, indicated that researchers found an octagonal basement built in brick, in good condition. They found inside it two sarcophagi, each with a skeleton.
The researchers discovered nearby four white-painted plates and also a blue earthenware vessel.
Experts have stated that this discovery will allow them to study other tombs in this region.
The Ming dynasty, reportedly, had ruled China in the years (1368-1644 AD) during which the population of China doubled. A naval fleet was built and cultural ties were established with the West, Which made China one of the world's leading nations.
However, as a result of the popular uprising led by Li Qing, the Ming dynasty was overthrown.
