Banned Muslim Brotherhood group gloated over a deadly blast left 20 martyrs at the vicinity of Al-Kasr Al-Aini central Cairo last night. While Egyptians are sad and dozens hurried to provide state-owned hospitals with all types of blood, pro-Brotherhood media platforms were not saddened by the accident.
Dead or Martyrs..?
According to the Arab ideology and known media behavior, victims of terrorist attacks should be names as “martyrs”, while the victims of terrorist elements are called “dead”.
Today, the Brotherhood did not refer the victims of Al-Manial district as “martyrs”.
In other words, the terrorist group is cunning as usual; it has been insisting to uncover their hatred to the Egyptian people, not only the state.
Harming Egyptian Tourism
“Where is the safe place in Egypt where no fire kills Egyptians?” that was a question posed by Brotherhood anchor Haitham Abu Khalil in his today’s show on Al-Sharq satellite channel, aired from Turkey.
Abu Khalil tried to appear sad but his tone and words could not hide his anger and gloating over the blast which has left all Egyptians mourning.
His question aims only at harming the reputation of Egypt as a safe destination to tourists.
This is not the first case as the Muslim Brotherhood and its media arms gloated over the death of well-known writer Ahmed Ragab.
In this regard, Azza Al-Garf, Brotherhood female leading member, tweeted: “You backed killing and your pen was against Islamic values.”
The same happened to caricaturist Moustafa Hussein. Following his death, Brotherhood members cheered and launched a hashtag on social media platforms cursing him.
Muslim Brotherhood group’s Rigid Stupidity
In an attempt to blame the government for the blast, the Brotherhood channels alleged that the state-owned media did not pay attention to the incident.
Brotherhood-run Sharq channel claimed that the Egyptian media did not care about the blast; showing old footage of the Youth Conference held last month at the new administrative capital city.
Preliminary Investigations Refer to a Terrorist Attack
Few hours after the horrible blast, the interior ministry issued a statement stating that the initial examination of the car, which caused the explosion, found that terrorist Hasm Movement was behind it.
“Examining a car blast occurred at Al-Kasr Al-Aini neighborhood, before the Cancer Institute, the initial results found that a private car moving in the opposite direction hit three other cars.
“The technical examination proved the car had had an amount of explosives on board; as a result the crash led to a blast,” the statement read. “The preliminary investigations found that Hasm Movement, which belongs to the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group, was behind preparation of that car which had been prepared to carry out a terrorist attack.”
The statement added that the car, which caused the blast, was traced and it was found that it was stolen and the real owner had reported about its theft at Monofiya governorate a few months ago.”
Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi condemned the attack on Monday afternoon.
“I would like to express my sincere condolences to the Egyptian people and to the families of the martyrs who were killed in the cowardly terrorist incident in the Qasr Al-Aini area yesterday evening,” Sisi said.
The blast took place in front of Egypt’s National Cancer Institute, where shreds of metal and glass lay on the street. The front of the building was damaged, with debris strewn along the length of a city block.
