Production began on Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler's highly anticipated sequel to "Murder Mystery".
Aniston and Sandler announced Monday the news on Instagram, saying: "Back to work with my buddy. #MurderMystery 2".
The post featured a photo of Aniston and Sandler at the beach. The photo was followed by a video of a masked cast and crew dancing around a set surrounded by palm trees.

"Murder Mystery 2" was announced in October 2019.
The sequel is written by James Vanderbilt, just like its predecessor. However, Jeremy Garelick is replacingKyle Newacheck as director.
"Murder Mystery 2" also sees Adeel Akhtar and John Kani returning for the sequel.
The cast also includes newcomers Mark Strong, Mélanie Laurent, Jodie Turner-Smith, Kuhoo Verma, Enrique Arce, Tony Goldwyn, Annie Mumolo, and Zurin Villanueva.
The original movie was released in June 2019 and centered around a couple who got framed for the murder of an elderly billionaire while on vacation.
"Murder Mystery" had the largest opening weekend of all time for Netflix as well as became the 5th most-watched Netflix original movie and Sandler's most successful movie on the platform.
