The Egyptian Society for Graduates of Russian and Soviet Universities, in cooperation with the Russian House in Cairo and the Fatima Ballet troupe, is organizing a Mother's Day celebration at 7 pm tomorrow, Sunday, March 19, at the "Tchaikovsky" Theater at the headquarters of the Russian Cultural Center in Dokki.
The celebration also includes a Pharaonic and oriental show, in addition to a show "Helwa Ya Baladi", taken from the song of the Egyptian singer "Mohamed Hamaki" and "Lara Iskandar".
The celebration also includes honoring the ideal mothers from the staff of the Russian embassy in Cairo, as well as the ideal mothers from the Egyptian side.
The celebration is supervised by "Dr. Fatima Marzouk", founder and director of the Fatima Ballet Studio, with the participation of the artist "Maryam Salah" and the artist "Sandra Selim".
For his part, "Murad Jatin", director of the Russian cultural centers in Egypt, pointed out the importance of the annual traditional celebration organized by the Russian House in cooperation With the Alumni Association as one of the main partners in cultural cooperation.
Sherif Gad, head of the Alumni Association, stated that the celebration is an opportunity to honor ideal mothers from both the Russian and Egyptian sides.
Dr. Fathi Toghan, Secretary General of the Alumni Association, pointed out the association's keenness on the importance of intensifying cooperation with the Russian Cultural Center and celebrating national occasions in both countries.
For her part, "Dr. Fatima Marzouk" expressed her happiness in organizing the Mother's Day celebration at the Russian Cultural Center for the second year in a row.
She also confirmed that she is keen to present the classic Russian ballet because of its importance because the Russian school is one of the oldest schools in the art of ballet. Not without fine Russian arts.
Dr. Fatima Marzouk invited the audience to come and enjoy the surprise that was prepared to be presented at the celebration on the occasion of Mother's Day this year.
