Mostafa Waziri Meets Amb. Of Kazakhstan

Dr. Mostafa Waziri, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, met with Khairat Lama, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Cairo, to discuss the latest developments in the project of renovation of Al Zahir Baybars Mosquein Al-Zahir district, in preparation for its opening soon.

The meeting focused on the latest developments in the mosque renovation project, Kazakhstan contributes to financing this project under the supervision of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

 The meeting also addressed the possibility of holding a temporary exhibition of Islamic antiquities in a number of cities in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On his part, Ambassador Khairat Lama expressed his appreciation for the fruitful cooperation in the Egyptian-Kazakh relations in the field of archaeological work, expressing his country's aspiration to benefit from Egyptian expertise in the field of archaeological work.
