Mostafa Shaban Announces He Is Married

Egyptian actor Mostafa Shaban revealed on Tuesday that he is now married.

In an interview with "Al Hayah" satellite TV channel, Shaban said: "When my partner and I were planning to get married, my father got very sick and was hospitalized, so we decided to postpone it. He is currently fine,".

"As my father was set to be discharged from the hospital, he told me to get married the next day otherwise he would not leave the hospital," he added. “We did it as a family affair.".

Shaban also addressed the state of controversy his marriage caused and noted he and his wife had set a date for the wedding but it was postponed thrice.

"My wife's name is Hoda El-Nazer, she is an AUC graduate and she is half Upper Egyptian and half English," he said.

Shaban added: "We share many common interests such as our love for horses and staying at home,".

"The basis of marriage and commitment is love and intellectual intimacy", he continued."We have known each other since 2009, have a dream and common goals, and have things in common like reading, intelligent dialogue, and common interests,".

"We may differ in other matters, but we listen to each other and benefit from each other. A man is a man and a woman is a woman, and each of us has a role and there is an understanding between us in all matters,".

"I help my wife and stand and watch her while she cooks, and I was the first to confess my love. We are both honest and told her that I liked her in stages, and it took time," he added. "Thank God there are no issues between us, I have no problem if they happen to initiate reconciliation, and this is what my father used to do."
