Egyptian actor Mostafa Khater is set to star alongside actress Nelly Karim in the TV series “Farawla".
"Farawla" will consist of 15 episodes and is set to screen in the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
The project witnesses Karim returning to the comedy genre after participating in past marathons with the angsty genre. She made her last participation in the genre with the 2020 "B 100 Wish".
She participated last Ramadan with the TV series “Omla Nadra“.
It also starred Jamal Suleiman, Kamal Abu Raya, Ahmed Eid, Farida Saif Al-Nasr, Nada Moussa, Mohamed Lotfy, Jumana Murad, Mariam El Khosht, Mohamed Fahim, Ramzy Al-Adl, and Hisham Ashour.
Mohamed El Adl, known as Mando, is directing the series from a script by Medhat El Adl. The series sees Karim embodying a woman from Upper Egypt for the first time who is prevented from inheriting.
Karim, born on December 18, 1974, is an Egyptian actress, former model, and ballet dancer.
She was born in Alexandria, Egypt, to a Russian mother and an Egyptian father. Karim graduated from the Ballet Arts Academy and began dancing ballet at the Opera in 1991.
The actress has starred in many television series such as “Wajh al-Qammar”, “Hadeeth al-Sabah wa al-Masaa”, “al-Houb al-Kabir”, and “al-Bannat”.
