Egyptian actor Mostafa Gharieb has landed his first major TV role.

The untitled project is set to screen during the Ramadan 2027 drama marathon.

Heya Kemya

Gharieb participated last Ramadan with the TV series "Heya Kemya".

Islam Khairy directs the series from a script by Mohab Tarek. The E-Producers banner is behind the drama.

The project consists of 15 episodes and marks the first collaboration between the pair as well as Gharieb's first lead role in a drama.

Along with Gharieb, the series also stars Diab, Mimi Gamal, Mariam El Gendy‎,  Sayed Ragab, Farah Youssef, Michel Milad Beshay, Mohamed Abdelazim, Mohsen Mansour, and more.

The official logline for the series reads: "One anomalous equation detonates Sultan’s stable life: a brother appears at their dad’s funeral, then evaporates—setting off a volatile chain reaction with no safe outcome..".

Up next for Gharieb is the star-studded film "El Kalam Ala Eh: Awal Laila".

Ahmed Hatem, Aya Samaha, Gihan El Shamashergy, Sayed Ragab, Entsar, and Khaled Kamal round out the cast.

It is scripted by Ahmed Badawy, directed by Sandro Canaan, and produced by Film Square.

The film revolves around the first night after marriage, through four couples who face unexpected situations on their wedding night and how the outcome impacts their lives.

In a lighthearted treatment, "El Kalam Ala Eh" showcases the challenges that newlyweds face despite their different backgrounds, and how they deal with them, highlighting differences in temperament and reactions at that pivotal moment in their lives, and how they interact with one another in high pressure nature.

The feature marks the second collaboration between Hatem and Samaha after the 2024 TV series "Omar Affendi".

"El Kalam Ala Eh" is set to hit theatres across Egypt and the Arab world on May 14.
