Engineer Mohsen Salah, Chairman of the Arab Contractors (AC) Company, said that the 4th phase of Cairo's third metro line project represents a major turning point in the field of construction in Egypt.
"For the first time, an Egyptian consortium consisting of the "Arab Contractors" and "Orascom Construction" companies has implemented a huge project in the subway field, without any foreign contributions," Salah added in press statements.
Moreover, AC Chairman stressed that the credit goes to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi who put great trust and confidence in the Egyptian companies to implement national mega projects.
Salah also pointed out that AC company enjoys a broad base of human cadres with a great level of experience in implementing projects in different fields, such as the Port Said tunnels project and Long Live Egypt bridge, which has achieved the Guinness World Records title for the widest cable-stayed bridge.
In addition, he said that the implementation of these mega projects has enhanced the reputation of the Egyptian contracting companies abroad.
In the same context, the AC chairman thanked the Ministry of Transport and the National Authority for Tunnels and all the company's employees for their great effort in this project, which came out in an honorable and high-quality manner.
