Mohsen Salah, CEO of the Arab Contractors Company announced the completion of repair work on the July 26 axis, with a total length of 210 meters in both directions.
Salah explained that the company completed the asphalt and road works ahead of Eid al-Adha to facilitate travelling during the feast.
He pointed out that the project was aimed at ensuring the durability of the axis, as the company installed a concrete slab with a surface of 2,400 meters centered on 44 piles, with a depth of 32 meters and a diameter of 1 meter to ensure the efficiency of the repair work.
The company has completed a partial overhaul of the direction from October 6 to Lebanon Square last May.
As for paving the road, the asphalt layers and the soil beneath it were removed and then filled with other layers according to the latest specifications and technical standards.
