“The King” Mohmed Mounir has been tapped to perform the opening theme song for Egyptian actress Rogena's upcoming TV series “Had Aqsa” ("Maximum Limit").
The track, titled "Taad", is written by Ahmed Shabaka, composed by Ahmed Hamdy Raouf, and produced by Rotana.

"Had Aqsa" witnesses Rogena teaming up for the first time with her daughter, director Maya Ashraf Zaki on the production.
Zaki directs from a script by Hesham Helal. Inspire Studio Production is the banner behind the drama.
Along with Rogena, the series also stars Khaled Kamal, Fadwa Abed, Mohammad Al Qass, Mariam Ashraf Zaky, and more.
“Had Aqsa” is set to screen on the "CBC" and the "Al Hayah" satellite TV channels and the "Watch It" VOD during the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon.
Mounir is also joining forces with musician and frontman of Egyptian rock band Cairokee, Amir Eid on a new project.
The pair are teaming up on a new commercial for Ramadan, in which the first scenes were filmed inside Mounir’s house in Aswan.

On the other hand, Mounir is close to finishing his new studio album.
The iconic singer has recorded 4 songs and collaborated with the Grammy Award-winning Egyptian musician Fathy Salama.
The LP consists of 10 songs and is produced by Rotana.
He previously offered his fans the first taste of the record with the release of "Malamehna," followed by "El zoua El Aaly," featuring Tamer Hosny, "Ana Allazy", and "Ben El Benen".
In the album, Mounir cooperates with a large number of poets and composers, including Hala El Zayat, Menna El Kiey, Tamer Hussein, Aziz El-Shafei, Ehab Abd Elwahed, and the late Mohamed Rahim.
Mounir dropped his last album, “Bab El-Gamal” ("The Door to Beauty") in August 2021.
Mounir, born on October 10, 1954, is one of the Middle East’s best singers.
He released his 1977 debut solo album, “Alemony Eneeki” on the Sonar record label, after completing his military service.
The superstar has released over 22 albums and six soundtrack albums.
Mounir, whose musical career spanned over three decades, presented various genres in his music, such as classical Egyptian Music, Nubian music, blues, jazz, and reggae.
The superstar’s lyrics are quite famous for their philosophical content as well as for their passionate social and political commentary.
